La nostra proposta:L’associazione « Aggiungi un Turista a Tavola » nasce con l’intento di promuovere il movimento turistico nel Salento, attraverso una originale modalità di accoglienza.
Essa, infatti, intende riunire sotto la presente forma associativa quelle realtà familiari che, legate fortemente alla tradizione culinaria salentina, siano disponibili ad accogliere il turista (e la sua famiglia), durante i loro pranzi o cene.
In tal modo, chi viene a visitare il nostro splendido Salento, si troverà direttamente a contatto con le realtà familiari delle nostre terre, avendo la possibilità di degustare insieme alla cuoca i piatti tipici della tradizione, imparare i trucchi del « mestiere », ascoltare i racconti dei nonni della famiglia ospitante, sentir parlare il dialetto locale (o il griko), ed assaporare – oltre che il pranzo o la cena tipica, seduti allo stesso tavolo della famiglia – i ritmi, i profumi, i colori, l’idioma e quant’altro rende questo territorio mèta privilegiata di turisti italiani e stranieri.
L’associazione, quindi, attraverso un sito web ed un blog, promuove, organizza ed eventualmente gestisce l’incontro a tavola tra famiglie locali e famiglie di turisti italiani e stranieri che visitano e soggiornano nel territorio Salentino.
In tal modo, l’associazione punta a valorizzare, sviluppare e tutelare il territorio e le sue risorse in ottica di sostenibilità, nonché valorizzare la cultura a tavola come veicolo d’incontro, d’aggregazione e di socializzazione al fine di creare comunità.
Non a caso, l’ospitalità e l’accoglienza sono nel DNA dei Salentini.
Our proposal:
The association "Add a tourist at the Table" was created with the intent to promote the tourist movement in Salento, through an original mode of reception.
In fact, it aims to bring together in this form of association than that of family, linked strongly to the culinary traditions of Salento, are available to accommodate tourists (and his family) during their lunch or dinner.
Thus, those who come to visit our beautiful Salento, is directly in contact with the realities of our family lands, having the chance to taste all the typical dishes of the chef, learn the tricks of the 'profession', listen to grandparents'stories of the host family, to hear the local dialect (or griko), and taste - as well as lunch or dinner, the family sat together - the rhythms, the smells, the colors, the language and whatever makes this area prime destination for Italian and foreign tourists.
The association, therefore, through a website and a blog, promotes, organizes and manages the appropriate table encounter between local families and families of Italian and foreign tourists who visit and reside in Salentino.
Thus, the association aims to promote, develop and protect the land and its resources with the goal of sustainability and value of culture as a vehicle to board meeting, meeting places and social networking to create community.
Not surprisingly, the hospitality and welcome are in the DNA of Salento.
